Did you know that human trafficking, i.e. slavery, still happens all around the world, and even in the U.S.? On the interstate about twenty minutes from where I live, there is a truck stop where sex traffickers are known to bring young girls and force them to approach truck drivers to sell sex. Horror stories like this one are happening all the time, all across the country.
If you ever see anything (anything) suspicious, you can call the National Human Trafficking Resource Center hotline. You can report suspicious activity, and they will contact local authorities and organizations. They need our help because they can’t be everywhere at once. They can also help you if you want to get involved with local anti-human trafficking efforts, and give you general information about trafficking. You can call if you just have a question.
